Purchased a hypex NC502 and I must say, I’m VERY pleased with the product. Never heard a hypex digital amp before and I will say that these are superior to any ice power amps I have owned prior. They are so detailed and free from harshness in the high end, bass is super tight and outstanding. I highly recommend that you give Warren a try, you won’t be disappointed. Thanks again.

If there was one word I could use to describe the NC502MP, it would be accurate. I think it’s due to having so much power on reserve, the amp pushes music out effortlessly. There is no sense of struggle and it never loses its composure during loud listening sessions on complex passages.
I’m beyond satisfied with my purchase. The future is here and Class D amplification is now the superior technology.

I bought an amp from Warren because I wanted an entry level price on a Hypex Ncore brand system. I was pleasantly surprised to find the quality very high for something that I could have easily paid 3000$+ for (I’ve seen several companies offering $3k+ NCore 502 amplifiers that only have a few extra I/O over a VTV offering).
The amp sounds fast, responsive, clear, loud and radically different with my Kefs than my hand-made tube amp collection does. I love the VTV, although I could never get rid of my Audio Research hardware. Also the NCore plays very nicely with tube preamps. The components and chassis seem very high quality.
My unit causes a small pop on the right speaker when turned off. Not a big deal, but I need to look at that. It also has some extra holes in the bottom of the chassis, which is to keep costs down in various configurations of the amplifiers. No complaints about the bottom panel since I wanted something inexpensive. There was one screw that needed tightening when it arrived. Again, no big deal. Such is the joy of small batches of hand made electronics. No harm, no foul.
In the “under 900$ for a state-of-the-art amplifier” category, and at a kilowatt power total no less, VTV actually punches above its weight. I would put this amp up against the competitors any day. Warren took good care of my order communications too. I am overall very pleased.
Thanks, VTV team!

Amazing amplifier! Within the past few weeks I’ve used a Parasound 2250, AIYIMA A07 and Schiit Vidar with my system. Both class D amps immediately impressed me with their breadth of soundstage and bass. The Vidar and Parasound both lacked staging and the A07 just didn’t seem to have enough power to give bass its thump.
That all changed with my VTV. The soundstage and bass response became immediately noticeable to my ears. I was also (finally) able to take advantage of a fully balanced XLR signal from my DAC. Absolutely zero noise and I’m hearing details that weren’t apparent in any of the previous amplifiers. Plenty of power for anything you can throw at it.
I was concerned reading some reviews on the build quality of VTV but was very pleasantly surprised to receive a very well built, solid amplifier with no marks or signs of additional foddering. The case is attractive and has just the right amount of heft to it.
I went with the Hypex NC502 over Purifi for the additional power and bass response and considering the performance uplift over the other amplifiers I used, I have zero regrets. This thing is crystal clear and delivers on everything I was looking for.

Spent a ton of time assessing the characteristics of class D in general and reading tons of material related to user experiences and objective measurements and finally after better than 6 months of daily reading and studying decided to pull the trigger on a stereo NC502 from Warren. Truly wish I had done so sooner. Absolutely astoundingly clean at all levels. I’m driving a pair Ohm 6 ohm taller walsh 2000s to ear splitting level (110 db peaks) in room with absolute precision at all frequencies. Transient response is excellent, frequency response is excellent, this may well be the cleanest amplifier I have ever heard, it surely is the cleanest I have ever owned. Never been more satisfied with a purchase. For a relatively high drive level the case never gets more than barely warm to the touch. My best guess is that the same case could easily handle 4 channels of amplification and still be well within comfortable thermal limits even in hard use. But this thing barely breaks a sweat at lease breaking levels. Very impressed with build quality. An added plus is the gray case color matches my Emotiva preamp almost exactly so it looks like they belong together, and if the sonics are anything to go by, they absolutely were made for each other.
