This is a brand new amplifier featuring:

—9040 module uses the latest Purifi Gen 2 loop technology delivering substantially lower noise than previous Purifi models producing the most natural and realistic sound in Class D today.

—Vacuum tube input buffer using 6922 tube delivers smooth mids and highs along with the sonic ambience of vacuum tube designs. Our tube buffer uses Sparkos 78xx regulators for the critical audio circuits. Sparkos regulators are known to the quietest regulators in the industry. Tube is run at conservative bias current to extend life to more than 2500 hours and unique auto bias circuitry makes tube replacement simple. You can easily replace the opamps to tailor the sound.

—Power output at clipping: 400W @ 8 ohms, 750W @ 4 ohms, 1000W+ @ 2 ohms and stable

—Hypex SMPS1200A180 power supply. This is the SMPS that Purifi uses in their demo models.

—Fully balanced design from input to output

The VTV Buffer:

SPARKOS LABS SS78 & SS79 DISCRETE VOLTAGE REGULATORS provide power to the Op Amps and amplifier module. The Sparkos Labs SS78 and SS79 Discrete Voltage Regulators bring ultra low noise and fast transient response to VTV input buffer board. Customers notice low level listening ability, far superior 3D soundstage and high frequency details. The VTV Custom buffer accepts industry leading discrete opamps from Sparkos, Sonic Imagery and Weiss—-all in stock and available at VTV.

We use the Sparkos regulators for the important analog power supply. WE KEEP THE 5v DIGITAL supply completely isolated.

—Unit is shipped with 26.5 db gain—user adjustable via jumper to either 21db or 30db.
