Approximately 2 years ago I purchased the Pascal LPro2S Stereo amp and in that time it took putting together a 2.1 system comprised of a single cd/Dac unit(Onkyo), a streamer/Dac unit(Eversolo), a preamp unit(Emotiva PT2) and a Fluance turntable to fully enjoy the subtle sound of a good quality class D amp. I did almost forget that this amp is driving a pair of Magnepan MMG speakers w/ a Velodyne sub and it does this flawlessly and with a synergy that pleases my ears. Thanks Warren for your professionalism and knowledge, I am extremely happy with the purchase of my VTV amp and the beautiful music it is helping to produce...

Amazing amp. Super clean and powerful. Not the slightest hiss or buzz even at max volume with your ear to the speaker. It brought my speakers to life and couldn't be happier with my decision to buy from VTV. Bass is tight and defined, mids are clean and the the highs come to life. The amp is small despite the power and runs cool. A homerun in every stat.

Warren was great. I sent an inquiry about lead-time and Warren answered right away and promptly thereafter. I received my amp the same week I ordered despite it being built to order.

Extremely impressed with his by VTV's service and the performance of the amp.

VTV 500-Watt Monoblock Amplifier Review – A Game-Changer for My System

I recently upgraded to VTV 500-watt monoblock amplifiers, and the difference has been nothing short of astonishing. My setup consists of a Wiim Ultra (streamer), Schiit Modius (DAC), and Polk Audio Signature Elite ES20 (speakers). While my previous Class D amplifiers did a decent job, I was looking for more power, better clarity, and a richer, more immersive sound. The VTV amps delivered on every front.

Right out of the box, these amps feel solid and well-built. They have a serious, professional look and feel, with a clean and functional design that focuses on pure high-quality amplification rather than unnecessary extras.

From the moment I turned them on, I knew these amps were on a completely different level. The changes in my system were immediate and dramatic:

✔ Deeper, Tighter Bass – The ES20s hit harder and sound more controlled and authoritative. Bass notes are punchy and defined rather than boomy or bloated.
✔ Expanded Soundstage – Everything feels bigger, wider, and more immersive. Instruments and vocals now have space and separation like never before.
✔ Improved Clarity & Detail – Songs I’ve listened to for years suddenly have new textures and nuances I never noticed before. The high frequencies are crisper but never harsh, and vocals feel more present and lifelike.
✔ More Realistic Presence – It’s like sitting closer to the performance, with the music sounding more direct and engaging rather than distant or compressed.

I put them through their paces with Woodkid's "Pale Yellow" and "Goliath", as well as Enigma’s "Amen", and I was blown away by the depth, clarity, and power that these amps brought out.

Before switching to the VTV monoblocks, I was using smaller Class D amplifiers. While they provided good performance for their size and price, they simply don’t compare to what these VTV monoblocks bring to the table. The difference is night and day—not just in loudness, but in overall sound quality, control, and realism.

Final Thoughts – Worth Every Penny

The VTV 500-watt monoblocks are one of the best upgrades I’ve ever made to my audio system. They unlocked the full potential of my speakers and took my music listening experience to an entirely new level. Whether you’re coming from budget amps or mid-tier gear, these monoblocks will elevate your setup significantly.

If you’re on the fence about buying from VTV, I can say without hesitation that these amps are worth it. Warren Coleman and his team have built a fantastic product, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for powerful, clean, high-fidelity amplification.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – Absolute Game-Changer

The first review you read on this amp was mine and was submitted in 2021. The eval 1 with the et400 boards is what the reviews tell you: totally neutral, invisible. Effortlessly powerfull. Comparing it with several much more costly amps at friends' places these past years always left me grinning: better control of the speakers, easy power. All other amplifiers add colour or simply lack grunt. Admittedly I have set the jumpers in the buffer board to bypassing the opamp buffer. More dynamics, fuller bass, even more natural. But beware: your preamp has to deliver 10V at 0db to make this work at full power for the eval 1. Pro dacs and preamps like pass labs do this.
But then it was 2024 and the eval6 came with the 6525 amplifier boards. I read that Amplifier designer Bruno Putzeys described the generation 2 Purifi amplifiers as even more easefull, quieter and natural. I was curious. Once again, Warren's service to get the amplifier to the Netherlands was quick, friendly, professional.
And it really lives up to what it's designer says. Have you been to a hifi demo where a really good set is used and then the cabling gets changed into the 5K+ realm? The recorded room, placement of instruments and the realness of tone goes to a level of reality that relaxes and let's you forget hifi. Guess what the difference between the eval 1 and eval 6 is to me? Exactly. At that super low price? Great times we live in. Yes, the amplifier is the cheapest part of my setup. And I really don't want anything else. But as said: if your preamp outputs 1,2 or 4v at 0db, you're likely better off with one of Warrens offerings with the better buffer than the Eval buffer. For full output with the buffer bypassed, the 6525 boards need 10,8V, so more than the eval1.

Spent a ton of time assessing the characteristics of class D in general and reading tons of material related to user experiences and objective measurements and finally after better than 6 months of daily reading and studying decided to pull the trigger on a stereo NC502 from Warren. Truly wish I had done so sooner. Absolutely astoundingly clean at all levels. I'm driving a pair Ohm 6 ohm taller walsh 2000s to ear splitting level (110 db peaks) in room with absolute precision at all frequencies. Transient response is excellent, frequency response is excellent, this may well be the cleanest amplifier I have ever heard, it surely is the cleanest I have ever owned. Never been more satisfied with a purchase. For a relatively high drive level the case never gets more than barely warm to the touch. My best guess is that the same case could easily handle 4 channels of amplification and still be well within comfortable thermal limits even in hard use. But this thing barely breaks a sweat at lease breaking levels. Very impressed with build quality. An added plus is the gray case color matches my Emotiva preamp almost exactly so it looks like they belong together, and if the sonics are anything to go by, they absolutely were made for each other.
